The Name Merry-go-round

Well I have had several positive comments about Wendi, but my older DD came home today from a weekend trip and reminded me that it is NOT her favorite. She strongly prefers Amy. Her reasoning is if we're going to give Wen an English name then we should give her something different than her Chinese name. Wen may or may not want to stay connected to her Chinese name depending on how she feels about her life as an orphan in China. My DD also said Wendi with an "i" will always get misspelled and Michelle is way too long. ;)

So currently the feud discussion centers around -
     
            Amy Joy      or   Wendi Michelle

By the time we get this name thing decided, Wen may be graduating from high school!
