DTC

On dossier finally made it to China (DTC) on August 5th. Now we settle in for the extremely unpredictable wait for China to send us a letter seeking confirmation (LSC) that we really do want to adopt Jian Jian. One family just received theirs after only 34 days, while another received theirs after waiting 135 days. Some families have waited longer! Most seem to be in the 50-70 day range. No rhyme or reason for the different wait times. Thankful we are another step closer, but frustrated that it looks more and more like it could be 2014 before I can travel.
