Feeling Optimistic

There is a strong consensus around the China adoption forums that there will be a big push to clear paperwork before the Chinese New Year holiday which starts Jan. 23. Our travel approval (TA) normally would be due to be completed the week of CNY, but I'm really hoping we get pushed through quickly. Looking at the numbers, if everything happened on the "fast track", we would be meeting Alice on my Dad's birthday (Feb. 5), spending DH's birthday (Feb. 8) in Beijing with our new daughter and completing Alice's consulate appointment on or near Valentine's Day! Would be really cool, don't you think?
