I800 step done - EARLY!

We received confirmation today that we have preliminary approval from US immigration for the adoption. We shaved a full week off the average processing time on this step. That just makes up for the extra week we waited for the previous step to get our LSC/LOA. Praying now that we can stay average through the next step from the National Visa Center. Ten days is the current average which would be December 22 - just before the Christmas break. Then we have hope that the US Consulate could finish its part and the necessary papers would make it to the Chinese adoption center before their big holiday break for Chinese New Year's in late January.
