We have a GUZ#

What is the world is a GUZ# you might ask? It's the number assigned when your paperwork is logged into the system at the National Visa Center, our next step in the process. I found out on Friday that we are in the system. Based on the experiences of other adoption families, once you've been assigned a GUZ# the "cable" to the US consulate in China is usually sent soon afterwards (next business day). That would be tomorrow! Stay tuned.
