Tomorrow I will go to the Clerk of the Court in my county to have the 4 notarized documents certified. Then a quick 2 block walk over to the Secretary of State's office to get their certification on 5 documents. Home to photocopy all the certifications. Then to UPS Store to overnight the documents, copies of all the documents, 3 checks (for courier, US Department of State and the Chinese Embassy) to the courier. She will take everything to State Department Monday morning, then drop off at Embassy for next day expedite service. She'll pick it up my papers on Tuesday sending 3 of them to our case manage at WACAP on the west coast (and 2 power of attorney documents back to us - DH is giving me legal permission to bring another daughter home from China - since he's staying home with Alice).WACAP is on standby. As soon as they get the documents they will turn it around and get it out the door to China ASAP. Things are finally moving.
