Better late than never. Our TA finally arrived. It is the approval to travel from China which is issued once they confirm that we have satisfied all the requirements for an adoption between China and the US.
Because it arrived today, Chinese New Year, we have to wait another week to schedule our travel. We are in the queue for consulate appointment requests. As soon as they reopen next week we will find out if we got our requested date (February 28, 29 or March 1). Assuming we do, we will be leaving for China on Thursday, February 16. Meeting Alice on Sunday, February 19. Adopting her on Monday, February 20 - President's Day!
