I am so excited that we finally got our letter from China! It is dated November 23, 2011 - the day before Thanksgiving. What a wonderful reason to give thanks!
For the next 2 months the process comes back to the US as we get approval to adopt from US Immigration and preliminary approval for Alice to come to the US - final approval will be granted at the consulate during our second week in China. The third and final month will go fast with travel approval from China (TA - see my new counter for current average waits and our progress), consulate appointment scheduling and travel arrangements.
Thank God for answered prayers.
