One small step - LID

Yesterday I got a call from our case manager that our dossier was officially logged into the China adoption system on August 16. It's not a big milestone, but a necessary one. The official count for the next step (Letter Seeking Confirmation-LSC) starts from our LID. Current average wait is 60 days, but some people are getting their LSC in 50 days or less - and that wasn't for any special circumstances. Our agency reminded the China authorities that our situation is time critical, so we are hoping that we will see our LSC in something closer to 30 days.
