Amy requested going to see the Olympic buildings so we did that next. Unfortunately she got into a bit of a snit because she doesn't want to ride in the car for 2 hours tomorrow to go to the Great Wall. Rather amusing to get this picture of her not smiling in front of the Bird's Nest. We have a similar picture of Alice. I forget why she was in a bad mood that day, but the results are about the same - the cold temperatures are siimilar too!
I'm not going to describe all of these, but they are different buildings from the Olympics, especially the Water Cube and Bird's Nest.
Amy still wasn't cooperating with getting her picture taken, so Alice played along.
Yes, that's my blind daughter walking down the stadium stairs by herself.
No idea what they were building with the scaffolding, but it was huge as you can see from the other pictures. Compare the structure to the crane.
The white stuff on the ground is snow. Joy says they haven't had any snow in Beijing so far this winter, so they brought it in from somewhere else.
Yes, she's going down the stairs by herself again.
No pictures, but from here we drove through Beijing city traffic to a nice restaurant for some Peking Duck. Yummy.
Tomorrow: Great Wall, Science & Technology Museum and then the 10 Year Anniversary Party for Bethel.

Thats cool that you got to go inside the stadium. I never see any photos on peoples blogs of the inside.
