Emotions

Alice pointed out that it's the weekend and at home she gets to call Beijing twice a month - - - SO, could she make a call? Of course. Can you tell what emotion she was feeling???? Someone is getting excited about visiting Beijing. :)

A dramatic contrast to what Amy was experiencing. She napped after we got back from the zoo. I figured it was the after effects of the 4 vaccinations yesterday, but when she woke up this was the mood she was in. I am sure she is grieving. It is hard to watch, but in the end it is actually is a good sign. She has strong feelings for the people and places she is leaving. Eventually, she will fill those emotional holes with new people and places. This is proof that she will, in time, develop an attachment to us and her new home. But the key word is time - it can't be rushed. She will be 26 years old before she has spent as much time in America as she has spent in China. That's a long time.
