I grabbed a quick photo before we headed out - actually 3 photos and she had her eyes closed for all of them. Oh well. She's still a pretty good looking BaLaLa magic fairy (you have to watch Chinese TV to understand LOL).

Halloween
Well we survived Hurricane Sandy. We did lose power for 52 hours, from Monday night until near midnight on Wednesday - Halloween. It was interesting going trick or treating. Alice's first time, my first time in many years, generators drowning out conversation, exhaust fumes and wood smoke filled the air and, boy, was it DARK outside!

I'm pretty sure we brought home one of those videos from China. She looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what $4 at the Dollar Store can do! We didn't bring home any of the videos, but Alice is so good at finding stuff on the internet that she watched ALL the available episodes her first few months home. Then she found a cartoon version! Fortunately, she seems satisfied to watch each episode only once and has moved on to other things. Yea!
